- Discussed making practices around tuition benefits more codified in policy
- Brought the idea of potentially using talent development funds for other degree-related costs (materials, application fees, etc.)
- Discussed talent development use and ties to performance evaluations
- Should not be a demerit to use funds
- Suggestion for a departmental audit to send to admin regarding supervisors (potentially including student supervisors too) – anonymized staff evaluations of supervisors
- Structured supervisor training to better familiarize them with resources and responsibilities
- Early ideas for using funds for committee work/service as incentive to participate
