        • Survey had 75% participation from staff & faculty 
      • Climate Surveys
        • There has been previous concerns around anonymous surveys
        • AIRE is running it and will anonymize data
          • AIRE staff will present at March 12, 2025 All-Staff
      • How to track, incentivize, and reward service?

      • Approve minutes from the 01/27 /2025 meeting.   
      • 2024 Evaluation Form and Process – feedback, questions, discussion 
        • Expecting more feedback from faculty during Spring Assembly
        • Changed timeline so that person being evaluated can sign after Dean Smith comments
      • Update from the LFA chairs' meeting with the Dean

        • If we use a similar or the same survey for staff, we might add examples

    • No volunteers yet
      • Send Brian names of interested individuals
    • Linda Hall Library and UMKC were leading candidates for next bus tour, starting to look at scheduling
  • Student Employee Appreciation Week
    • Second full week in April 
      • Rebecca might need helpers before this
    • Rebecca created budget for this, approved by Rich
    • We will celebrate once in Fall and once in Spring
    • Budget for supervisors to spend on their students
      • Might have to be event specific (holiday/stop-day/etc)
    • Will this impact supervisors who spend their own money on their students?
    • Send ideas to Rebecca
  • Recruiting candidates for FY26
    • Call for candidates to go out hopefully early April
    • Contact N&B to determine if there is anything they need from us
  • Other items:
    • ILS change
      • Clarivate (FOLIO) announced phase-out of perpetual access purchases for print, eBooks, digital collections by end of 2025
        • Duke just dropped FOLIO as their ILS
      • All-staff might be a good place to discuss this
      • LSA and LFA to discuss this with Dean Smith
      • Maybe we need to have a larger meeting to discuss this
    • Staff senate nominations are due tomorrow, March 7, 2025

 

Action Items:

Rebecca & Brian: discuss ILS change/Clarivate issue with relevant parties (Dean Smith, etc.)

Brian: contact N&B to determine if anything is needed before FY26 elections go live

All: send ideas about Student Employee Appreciation Week to Rebecca Schroeder

All: send names of individuals interested in serving on Talent Development Committee to Brian Moss
