    • Brian reached out to committee on the code, hasn’t heard back
    • Mostly just need to add the committee information to the code
    • We have one volunteer, maybe we have 
    • Might put out call for volunteers at next All-Staff meeting
  • Student employee appreciation efforts
    • Rebecca leading on this with support from Morgan and Jack H
    • Annex tours for access services students
    • Students are appreciative of this work
    • We will likely do this every semester
    • DASSEE awards nominations are closed and awards ceremony is May 1
  • Staff appreciation awards
    • 2 staff annual awards, more faculty awards
      • More staff members than faculty
      • Size of the awards is not always equitable
    • Faculty awards are endowed, likely why there is this difference
    • Dean Smith to talk to awards committee
    • Award ideas: staff supervisor award; innovation award (kind of already a thing); staff service/emerging leader award
    • Send award ideas to Brian and Rebecca
  • Staff service audit
    • Faculty service audit has not gone out yet
    • Percentage of work time committed to service
    • Probably send out around the same time as yearly evaluations
    • We want to include examples of service
  • Bus tour of Linda Hall Library and UMKC Library
    • Looking to line it up with Dean Smith availability (hopefully)
    • Likely to be scheduled the week after finals, May 19-23
    • These are very close in proximity to each other, we might just walk between them
    • We plan to have lunch provided
    • Linda Hall has open parking for folks who live closer to KCMO and want to meet there
    • Other ideas: Edwards Campus, KU Med
  • Other notes
    • Annex tour for full-time staff
    • Jeromy might be setting up another annex tour
    • Next Library share-out tomorrow 4/9/25 10:00am in Watson 455
      • Brian leading this one
    • CULS conference happening next month, May 12, 2025 in Emporia
    • KU fall semester starts August 18 not August 25
    • Qualtrics form on the LSA form – this is a space for people to submit questions, but we don’t know where the forms are sent?
      • Asking HR/administration about this
