a. Sent some questions to central HR

b. HR referred to webinars, which don’t completely answer the questions

c. Libraries Salaries and Benefits want a representative from Topeka to do a presentation that is more useful

d. Sharon is checking into this

e. Ann has a contact in Topeka; if we can’t get a presentation, we can e-mail her with questions

a. Leah to contact Nominating and Ballot about sending out a call for volunteers to fill vacancies

a. Likely schedule on the 11th between 1:30-5

b. Sara will look for a good time and send it out to LFSA Exec

c. Sara has potential agenda:

i. Brief remarks from Kevin (campus climate survey)

ii. Tuition Survey Results

iii. Approval of previous minutes

iv. Committee Reports

v. Amalia & Brian updates from University Governance, Chancellor search

vi. University Governance Committee updates

vii. Update on LFSA Exec activities (HealthQuest programming, website, call for election candidates)

a. Ask committees to get minutes to Greta

b. Ask for ~5 minute updates for general meeting

c. Annual Reports due June 15th

d. LFSA Exec meets next on June 20th; will write our own annual report and schedule transition meeting for new governance representatives

a. Brian has taken on the role of President

b. Staff Senate is working on a new staff handbook

c. Mini Wheat State Tour registration will begin May 24th – trip to Nelson
