Sabbatical Leave and Post Tenure Review Committee Meeting Minutes

January 30, 2019

The Sabbatical Leave and Post Tenure Review Committee (SLPTR) met on January 30. Attending: Brian Rosenblum (Chair), Sheryl Williams, Sara Morris, Elspeth Healey, and Karen Cook (Secretary).

The subject of the meeting was the PTR file under review. Suggestions for the committee’s report were made and discussed. Brian Rosenblum will draft the report and share it with the committee members before finalizing and submitting it.

After the meeting, the committee followed up over email regarding the special charge of reporting on ‘the pros and cons of creating a best practices guide as a reference for faculty submitting a post-tenure review (PTR) file.’ The committee concluded that it would recommend the creation of a simple one-page guide for those undergoing PTR review.
