MINUTES

October 9, 2017 Watson: 400 B Conference Room

Present: Scott McEathron (Chair), Frances Devlin (Ad Hoc Reviewer), Tami Albin, and Deborah Dandridge (Secretary). Absent: Vicki Doll

After Scott convened the meeting, Fran presented highlights of her findings as the Ad Hoc Reviewer of all files submitted to the Committee. She noted slight issues with the Candidate Verification form and using PRO headings for CVs. Based on the Ad Hoc Dossier Review Report prepared in 2011 by Sherry Williams, she described how she sought to assist the candidates in preparing their files. For future guidance, she also agreed to provide a written report on the procedure she followed in reviewing this year’s file.

Scott referred the Committee to the Promotion and Tenure Guidelines and Procedures for reviewing the files and proposed a timetable for reviewing this year’s files. The Committee will begin sharing their reviews of each of the files at the next meeting on Wednesday, October 8, 2017.
