Notes 

2019 report discussion 

∙ Survey design concerns with potential respondent anonymity, terms used, question phrasing, out  of scope focus on employee preferences. 

∙ Determining methodology seems to have some definition, but doesn't seem to match survey. ∙ Appendix B (HR Variable) needs more context to bridge other-than-gender variables, such as

o Length of service 

o Position fill difficulty 

o Counter offers 

o Previous employment classification/hiring practices (pre-market survey) 

o Specific equity merit decisions over the years. 

Committee business 

∙ Still need to appoint a faculty member 

∙ Need to choose a committee chair (pending all members, table to next meeting) 

∙ Need to review roles to address 2021 charge to "work with webmaster" 

∙ Need to solidify or confirm charge via LFSA-Exec 

Next steps 

o Angie will set up a meeting with former and current members to review the 2019 S&B report with  specific questions in mind. 

o Mike will find, re-run, provide specific data points previously shared with or by 2019 S&B o AIRS data – University gender equity study  

o Library averages of gender pay differences by classification (shared with 2019 S&B  committee)

o Current Library averages of gender pay differences by classification from (rerun with 2020- 2021 data)
