Standing Charges: 

3.3.7.1 The Committee on Salaries and Benefits, in consultation with the library  administration and the Library Faculty and Professionals Assembly, shall prepare such  reports and statistical studies as may be needed to support the library’s budget request for  salaries and shall seek ways to educate staff concerning benefit options. 3.3.7.2 The Committee on Salaries and Benefits shall be composed of three members of the  Library Faculty and Professionals Assembly, appointed by the Executive Committee and the  Libraries’ Executive Director of Administrative Services (ex officio). The appointed members  shall serve two-year overlapping terms and shall select a presiding officer and a recording  secretary. 

Standing Charges Progress/Accomplishment Summary: 

-In fall, after having lot of discussions in various meetings, we conducted an open forum for staff  and the faculty about merit based salary increase process and other benefits. 

-In Spring, we had many discussions about HealthQuest Program in our meetings and with LSA  exec members. We are planning and trying our best to have another open forum or webinar  with HQ representative before the end of the term.

Potential Charges for Future Committees/Recommendations: 

-Make progress on Star Benefit Program. 

-Make more progress in HealthQuest program. It depends upon how the meeting (if possible  this year) with the HQ representative will go.
