Agenda:
- Review/approve last meeting minutes CRSA_minutes 2024-02-28 Approved.
- Review GRF applications – Recently submitted application by Carmen Orth Alfie quickly discussed. Paul is listed as a collaborator on the application and it was agreed that all members can look at the application and provide initial feedback by the end of the day Wednesday.
- Discuss feedback on proposed revisions to LRF guidelines - Phil reported back on his attendance and participation in the meeting last week. There were some suggestions on more directed/specific language. There is concern that the language that was being used felt too “faculty-oriented" and efforts should be made to ensure inclusion. It is important to make it perfectly clear that this fund is available to both faculty and staff. The group read through the suggested changes and discussed the various ways to correct and modify the current document. There was a brief discussion about the differences between LRF and Professional Development funds and training. Members questioned whether the professional development examples should be included in the guidelines. Instead of examples on how these funds could be used, J.G. suggested that we use that place to provide examples on how they have been used in the past. Jill agreed to clean up the current copy to LSF and LRF for approval.
