CRSA Meeting Minutes

Attending: Phil Cunningham, Eric Bader, Brian Moss (as LFSA liaison), Paul Thomas, Jaime Groetsema Saifi

Agenda:

  1. GRF Announcement – Call for applications and timeline to review
  2. Program suggestion: Human Research Protection Program to present on IRB review process
  3. Select dates for LRF/GRF info session
  4. Select dates for GRF project discussion with Carmen’s team
  5. CRSA panel on creative works
  6. Special charge check-in (incl. CRSA in new hire onboarding)
  7. Funding flow chart check-in
  8. Survey on funding needs check-in (IRB?)

  1. CRSA panel on creative works [Apr/May]
  2. GRF panel with Carmen’s team [May/June]

For survey of funding needs, come up with simple questions for colleagues to ask about what their needs are. New folder created in the Teams site for us to drop questions, notes. Let’s aim to have seven questions and then send out as a Qualtrics survey.

Action items:

  • Phil will draft call for applications for GRF to go out week of 1/6/2025
  • Paul will reserve Watson 455 for Info Sessions (Jan & Feb 2025)
  • Eric offered to create Qualtrics form for survey
  • Next meeting in January will focus on Info Session.
