New Business:

- FY24 GRF competition now updated on the Office of Research’s GRF fund site: https://research.ku.edu/general-research-fund
- KU Libraries allocation for FY24 is $13,105.80 (which will be available July 1, 2023).
- Documents shared by Kelly Basinger, Fiscal Affairs are now available in the “files” section of the FY24 GRF channel in MS Teams.
- How to update GRF information / webform for GRF on CRSA site
- GRF Information Session for KU Libraries (to take place in January 2023)
- Potential date (week of January 9);
- Content of session?
- Three-candidate panel (1) Michael Peper already contacted; (2) Amaila Monroe-Gulick; (3) NAME)
- Plan an additional workshop on IRB and Human Subjects. Invite reps from IRB office (last meeting with them was several years ago). Potential date (week of January 30)
- Faculty Senate meeting on proposed changes to the GRF allocations (we’ll be meeting before the Faculty Senate meeting, so this will be to discuss if we have any questions/issues to raise at that meeting)
- See the FacSen GRF Recommendation Final_v1.docx file in the FY23 CRSA channel under “files”
- Need a Rep from Libraries (Elspeth) to defend the amount allocated to KU Libraries
- Updates/changes needed to CRSA pages of LFSA website
- Links to former successful GRF and LRF applications not available on website
- Need to make sure that documents are protected
- Should GRF and LRF applications be publicly available? CRSA Committee members concur that actual applications should be available on the Staff Intranet (on SharePoint) -- only available to an internal audience of KU Libraries Faculty and Staff as example of successful applications. Only the title and author of the projects should be available publicly.
- Ideas for promoting both GRF and LRF applications
- Discussion of CRSA info on both SharePoint and Teams
