Meeting Minutes: November 8, 2024

 

Meeting was called to order at 10 a.m. by Christen Caton via Zoom.

Old Business:

New business:

  • Planned update to the Code resulting from June 2024 vote to add language to Article III, section VI about LSA Service on External Committees and Bodies, to clarify that the two ex officio members of the University Senate Committee on Libraries are elected rather than appointed.
  • Discussion about whether a ballot measure would be needed to stand up the proposed LSA Talent development committee, or whether a simple majority vote at the next LSA meeting will suffice.
  • Brief discussion about future meeting date
