LFA Exec - Minutes - October 11, 2021

Library Faculty Assembly Executive Meeting 

Monday, October 11, 2021, 1 pm via Microsoft Teams 

Attendees 

  • LFA Executive Members: Angie Rathmel, Scott McEathron, Sara Morris, Erin Wolfe, Deborah Dandridge, and Lea Currie 

  • Guests: None 

Agenda

  • Angie called the meeting to order at 1:02 

  • Minutes from the last meeting were approved with one addition.  

Old Business 

  • Corrections to Committee Appointments 

  • There are no LFA Liaisons to LFSA committees—those appointments are made by LFSA 

  • LFA Committee Updates 

  • SLPTR—Tami Albin is the Chair and will be calling a meeting for those going up for PTR. There is one Sabbatical application 

  • LCPT—Amalia Monroe-Gulick is the Chair and they are reviewing files 

  • Reviewed procedure for submitting minutes to the Governance Webmaster 

New Business 

  • Call for Agenda items for upcoming meeting with Kevin 

  • Significant discussion about what to discuss  

  • Topics included retention, moral, hiring, campus/library environment, workload/compensation 

  • Five-Year Review  

  • Currently Nominating and Ballot has an e-mail out concerning membership of the Five-Year Review Committee.  Additional details will be forthcoming
