MINUTES: 2017-2018 Library Faculty Assembly Executive Committee Monday April 16, 2018 1-2pm Watson 503A

Agenda

1. Minutes approved
2. No liaison reports
3. Meeting with Dean Kevin Smith: Discussion about gender pay gap and 2017 report ensued. LFSA will discuss the potential of future actions/charges. There is a need for future research and a new report, the current one does not provide a clear picture.
4. LFA Executive Charges Assessment will be tabled until the next LFSA Exec meeting
5. LFA General Assembly Agenda: Ombud will attend, given the recent LFSA meeting committee reports will be skipped, approve minutes, vote and approve the Faculty Evaluation Plan, provide a brief report about LFA activities, and discuss the gender pay gap report
6. New Business: University Senate Libraries Committee meeting was held and there is interest in discussing library budgets in the future.
