    • Absent: Secretary: Rebecca Orozco, Member 1: Ada Emmett
  2. Approval of Minutes
    • Minutes approved with corrections for September 21 and October 5 meetings
  3. Review Upcoming meeting schedules
    • Oct. 20 Sara and Karna meet with Dean Kevin Smith
    • 1:30 pm Oct. 24 Fall LFSA meeting
      • Must have quorum of 60 people
    • New meeting scheduled for 1 pm Nov. 15
    • Week of Nov. 28 meeting will be scheduled
    • LFA General Assembly meetings:
      • 9 am on Dec. 8 and 1 pm on Dec. 14 are proposed dates (TBD)
  4. Report from Promotion and Tenure Documents Working Group
    • Promotion and Tenure Procedures for the Faculty of The University of Kansas Libraries and Criteria for Academic Ranks of Library Faculty subject of discussion
      1. Group modified documents to College's template for promotion and tenure procedures and to accommodate the inclusion of Unclassified Academic Staff
      2. Discussion of modifications ensued
      3. Promotion and Tenure Procedures for the Faculty of The University of Kansas Libraries will be further revised by the working group
