This meeting with LFSA Salaries and Benefits Committee members has been arranged after having  discussions in LSA meeting about HealthQuest concerns. The Salaries & Benefits committee met with  Marianne Reed concerning issues being raised by staff regarding the HealthQuest program.

-Resources to know and learn about staff.

-Biometric screening issues like not able to auto load, nicotine test at doctor’s office cost you extra 50- 80 bucks.

-The official site does not have an FAQ.

-We all should be well educated about the process involving HealthQuest. The question is how to know  this process?

-The Benefit session does not provide much information.

-We should know if resources are out so that we can direct the staff and help them in locating the  resources.

-Need list of different resources.

-The lab results take more time to be counted towards credit, if applicable credits credited late, if not  processed fast enough so have to be very careful for the end of the year appointments. -Too much involvement of Cerner, issues raised about security and privacy.

-Talked about some tricks and tips to learn.

-Talked about less benefits of tuition assistance compared to other places and that too might be  reduced in the future.

-Two town Hall meetings regarding Tuition Assistance.

-Dean Smith has talked with Provost about concerns regarding taking away some tuition assistance  benefits.

-Discussed anonymous quick survey.

Actions:

1. Need to contact HR to find out if they have additional suggestions for more elaborate and  intuitive resources regarding the HealthQuest program, outside of the provided website.

2. Need to contact someone in HR about identifying a person who could come to the libraries and  host a meeting to answer all the questions submitted in advance by staff, and those that arise  during the meeting, all with respect to the HealthQuest program.

3. Shannon Royer will contact Mike Broadwell concerning issues raised by staff regarding the  HealthQuest program.

4. Sunita will write the minutes and get it approved before submitting to Greta.
